Producer Don Fury has added comprehensive Digital Mastering to this great studio environment. Digital Mastering geared directly to the Indie music community, with fair and predictable rates. And with Fury's hundreds of Indie and Majors productions as the artistic foundation.
WHY MASTER?
There are many good reasons to Master your mixes, from simply sequencing your record to more important issues. Here are a few examples:
* To create a more 'Full' sound, or to create a 'Loud' sound.
* To turn a 'Dull' sounding mix into a 'Vibrant' sounding mix.
* To bring different sounding recordings together into a more 'Unified' sound.
* To create an Indie Release that competes with Majors.
* To create what you thought you heard when you were mixing your record.
WHY MASTER WITH DON FURY AT DON FURY STUDIO?
Fury is offering a Mastered product geared to the Indie community. Instead of expensive and hard to predict hourly rates, you can closely predict your costs with DON FURY STUDIO's fair per-track rates. Our rates were developed to keep the cost of Mastering an average 12 song Indie record UNDER $1000, and to keep the costs for Mastering an average 5 song Indie EP to about $450. And If you have recorded your project at DON FURY STUDIO, your rate is REDUCED dramatically!
The key to your sound is the Mastering Engineer. Don Fury has produced hundreds of well known Indie and Major Label releases. Check Fury's Discography, or a short list of Bands he's produced and Labels he's produced for, or listen to recent recordings he's produced and Mastered. Fury is not a 'single sound' producer. His productions span many styles, from slick to outrageous, from dynamic to slamming.
HOW DO YOU MASTER AT DON FURY STUDIO?
* Call DON FURY STUDIO and discuss your project with Don Fury.
* Send your Stereo Mixes on CD, with clear instructions about selected mixes, sequence, and other objectives. We DO NOT Master from Reel To Reel Analog Tape at this time. We can accept Stereo Mixes on CD at any word length. A sample rate of 44.1K is recommended.
* You may set up a Mastering Session for a single track, or tracks, from a record to preview results, based on our Mastering Rates. If you continue with your project the cost will be credited to your project total.
* You receive a reference CD. You are allowed one revision of the original selection, such as a change of sequence or audio processing. Additional revisions, or additional tracks, are billed separately. When the project is finished you receive 2 Gold Archival Grade Mastered CDs. Additional Parts (CDs) are billed separately.
WHAT WILL MASTERING AT DON FURY STUDIO COST?
Rates at DON FURY STUDIO were set to be fair and predictable. Indie Bands that record their projects at DON FURY STUDIO get dramatically REDUCED rates. There is also a SOLO ARTIST rate.
Cost is always subject to Project requirements; here are a few examples:
IF YOU DID NOT RECORD YOUR PROJECT AT DON FURY STUDIO:
* An average 12 Track Indie project will cost about $975.
* An average 5 Track Indie project will cost about $450.
IF YOU RECORDED YOUR PROJECT AT DON FURY STUDIO YOUR RATE IS REDUCED:
* An average 12 Track Indie project will cost about $300.
* An average 5 Track Indie project will cost about $125.
