ABOUT THE STUDIO:
DON FURY STUDIO is an exceptional recording environment. The Studio has a 14 foot high ceiling - Drums sound amazing in this room! We record Drums, Vocals, Acoustic Guitars, Horns or Percussion in the Studio.
The Control Room is large as well, and features a 44 input AMEK BIG analog console. There's room for Guitars, Keys, and Bass to play in front of the console in the Control Room - you'll see your drummer easily through the 8 foot wide Studio window - no headphones are needed. Guitar and bass speakers are isolated and recorded in SPEAKER CLOSET A or B for total separation. Guitar, Keys, and Bass dubs are done in the Control Room, with amp tops in the room for easy tone changes (including the MESA TRIPLE RECTIFIER and MARSHALL TSL 100). You monitor live, loud sound for sustain and tone.

ABOUT DON FURY STUDIO RECORDING RATES AND SCHEDULING:
The INDIE RATE @ DON FURY STUDIO has always been low: $50/hour. There is also a SOLO ARTIST RATE and MAJOR LABEL RATE. Fury's approach has been to keep rates down, and to be Flexible in scheduling. You're not forced to book 'block' time to get a fair rate. Fury prefers booking according to the needs of the project and the band's schedule. If that means working 9 and 1/2 hours, that's all you're paying for. If you need only 3 hours to finish vocals, that's all we book. And if your traveling far and have a strict schedule, and need to 'block' time, we can do that as well.
